Jordan Flagel

About Jordan

Jordan is a scientist and former athlete who has worked and studied in nine different countries. He has conducted research in the Amazon rainforest, Mesoamerican broadleaf forests, and the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Jordan was one of 11 participants selected for the Young Leaders for a Sustainable Future program and one of the inaugural participants in the United Nations Green Corps program for environmental professionals. He was also a short-term consultant for the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and an environmental policy analyst for the Canada West Foundation.

Jordan has written scientifically-backed articles for Maclean's, Linq Environmental Consulting, TREE Exploration, Tara Energy, Matmatch Materials Science, and more. Traveling, spending time with family and friends, and laying in a hammock are the most enjoyable things in his life.
