Annamarie Coy earned her B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Substance Abuse Counseling from Ohio Christian University. She is a Licensed Addiction Counselor Associate (LACA) in the State of Indiana. Additionally, Annamarie is an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC), Internationally Certified Peer Recovery (ICPR), Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II (CAPRC II), and a Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS). She spends her spare time studying current behavioral health issues and the results of the treatments for mental health disorders and addiction recovery. Her main goal in life is to end the stigmas associated with mental health and addiction disorders.
Annamarie believes that educating the public is the first step in ending stigmas. She has eleven years’ experience in behavioral health field. Annamarie’s desire to help people reach their true potential is her driving force to get accurate and pertinent information to the public.
She will continue to be an advocate for the positive treatment of individuals suffering from mental health and substance use disorders.
